In their second season in the Premier League, Wolves really are struggling. Mick McCarthey's men finished 16th last campaign on their return to the top flight. Having invested in the likes of Stephen Hunt and Steven Fletcher in the Summer, the Midlands side looked set to progress this season. However, it hasn't panned out that way.
Despite a good start back in August, ten defeats from their first seventeen games, sees Wolves in big trouble. Fletcher and Doyle have really struggled to find the net regularly enough, and I hate to say it, but to me, Wolves look the biggest certainties for relegation.
I'm not sure how much money McCarthey will have to spend in January. The defence needs strengthening, as conceding sloppy goals have cost the side this season. Early goals have been scored against Wolves too often as well. If quality players like Hunt, Jarvis, Doyle and Fletcher could reach their best, Wolves could yet survive. But unfortunately, I don't see it happening.
My prediction - 20th
