Van Persie Warns Arsenal

Robin Van Persie has warned his club Arsenal, that if they don’t start being more generous with player salaries, they risk losing many of their star players. Maybe he’s right and Arsenal need to adopt a new strategy. The Arsene Wenger ideal used to be very effective, but four seasons without silverware say that it’s time to switch up the mechanics.
Speaking of English wage prices, the overall amount of money spent on player wages in the EPL has increased to well over £1billion. And the way the game keeps moving towards the top clubs spending hundreds of millions during every transfer window, the amount is only going to increase.
And finally, in wage price news, Roman Abramovich is willing to go to any price to keep Frank Lampard with the London side, going so far as to offer him £150,000 a week. This is in response to Jose Mourinho’s expected managerial appointment at Inter Milan, and Lampard’s interest in playing once again for his former manager. Whomever takes over the managerial role for Chelsea is also set for quite a paycheck, as Abramovich has put up £6million to be the new managers salary, which would make the position filler one of the top paid managers in football.
