Trouble In Chelsea Paradise?

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, famous for such horrible decisions as forcing Shevchenko on Jose Mourinho, causing the special one to relinquish the Chelsea manager position. Not to mention the brilliance Abramovich expressed after the fact, by pushing through Avram Grant to promotion as Chelsea manager, and we all know how great Grant’s lineup decisions were.
Never forget the reason for Chelsea losing in the Champions League wasn’t Terry’s missed penalty. It was not playing Essien in mid-field, where he could have been best at stopping Ronaldo.
But now it looks as though Abramovich is seeking to force another lackluster Russian on Chelsea, in his pursuit of Andrei Arshavin. The same Arshavin that showed up for two games in the Euro, was given all the credit in the world, then fell flat when I really mattered against Spain.
While Chelsea manager Scolari wants to concentrate on much better, and more proven players, like trying to acquire Kaka, Deco and Franck Ribery. You know, players that will carry your team to success, not players that under perform when it matters. Chelsea already has those, Scolari is looking to bring in some counter balance with big game performers.
(Why Chelsea Wants Ribery)
So with a basically unlimited transfer budget as a major factor to be able to attract the right players, and with Scolari clearly exercising good decision making with his targets. Why is Abramovich still trying to force his way into “managing” Chelsea. There’s a reason not everyone can become a Premiership manager, Ince and Southgate not withstanding, you need proper qualifications from the FA and UEFA for a reason.
That reason? Keep the football inept like Abramovich out. Because Roman Abramovich may be a rich businessman, but that hardly qualifies him to make decisions about a professional football squad. And clearly most of his decisions in the past have backfired, so why does he keep trying?
(Why Chelsea Wants Kaka)
You hire a manager to run the club, you hired Scolari, a very capable one, now sit back and let him build you a winning football club. Or else you risk alienation from every Chelsea fan, as they’ve gotten used to recent success I’d imagine. Not to mention risking your placement in the top-flight.
Buying players doesn’t solve all your problems, so let Scolari buy you the ones that will. Because the major cracks of just snatching up the “best” players, have been appearing for a while now. Sooner or later you’re bound to implode, like Holland at every major International competition.
