Scolari For The Blues
June 12th 2008 18:04
Scolari has been officially named the new manager for Chelsea. Abramovich has made him an extremely happy man, I would assume, as Scolari has been given a £5million a year deal and £100million to spend on any players he sees fit in this summer’s transfer market. But with Scolari’s lackluster management in the Portugal squad, who knows how he’ll pan out. He fits the Chelsea mold of late with his misuse of players, given the way he silences Cristiano Ronaldo’s ability on the international stage. Perhaps we can see a repeat of Avram Grant, the manager who has an incredibly talented side, but can’t win a title because of his own stupid decisions.
Scolari will have the £5million to look forward to however, even if he does not control the team to Abramovich’s liking.
West Ham have secured Dean Ashton to a five year deal. The move should prove a strong decision for the club, being that Ashton is a remarkably inspiring player for his fellow West Ham players, as well as supporters.
Also, Eduardo may be able to return from his broken leg as early as preseason training. Which will be great for Arsenal, as the side seems to be strengthening more and more everyday. What with Arsene Wenger acquiring players over Sir Alex Ferguson like crazy. Including young prodigy Aaron Ramsay, and supposedly Blackburn star Santa Cruz. Which if the Santa Cruz report is correct, is one hell of a pickup. As Adebayor may be leaving for AC Milan this summer, Arsenal are set to not miss the striker very much at all.

Chelsea is one of those teams that has the good footballers but is not using them.
Like Chevchenko, used to be milans finest but didnt even play when he went to Chelsea.
It gets frustrating sometimes seeing the same old players not playing their best when someone on the bench can do better.
