Real Madrid Players Reject Ronaldo Controversy

Being led by a statment made from one Wesley Sneijder, Real Madrid's players do not agree with the current Ronaldo transfer drama. Upset about the thought of one player receiving such an incredible sum of money, over Madrid's other players Sneijder said that Ronaldo's acquisition would disrupt the squad. As Madrid's football last season wasn't particularly dominant, or beautiful at times. But clearly the Spanish club is finally developing an amazing chemistry between their players, for once.

Instead of just signing the big stars, Real Madrid have a chance to build a championship team, that plays like a team. Instead of a few stars controlling the match by being selfish on the ball.

But then, Real Madrid's strategy has always been to sign as many capable local boys as possible, as the cost is low. So it affords Madrid the opportunity to spend as much as they want on the big star players. i.e. Real Madrid can spend £75million on a player like Ronaldo, whey they lure local players into the organization for £100,000 a year.

They've always done that to acquire the big names, like the strategy when the strategy was employed for Beckham and Van Nistelrooy, as past United transfers.

Then they can manufacture players like Robinho and pay them next to nothing, in football terms, for just as much positive production to the club. So I don't understand what Sneijder is worried about. Each player has to negotiate their own contract, Real Madrid can't pay everyone equally, because the big stars wouldn't stand for a cut, and they can't afford to pay everyone millions of pounds.

Sneijder just needs to negotiate his own deals, and if the Dutchman feels he's not being paid fairly, then he needs to renegotiate or go somewhere else. But a revolt because one player is making as much money as he can, is stupid. Ronaldo is carrying his career as far as he can go, and no one can fault him for that. Nor should anyone revolt over such things.
