Tonight sees eight English Premier League matches, with the most anticipated undoubtedly being at Eastlands, between Manchester City and Manchester United. With no Rooney, I'd have to fancy City, But as we saw last week, United just have that knack of pulling off results. Keeping a close eye on this one will of course be leaders Chelsea, who will hope to re-establish their 5 point gap at the top, when they host Fulham. The final team in the top four, Arsenal, travel to Wolves, who have played brilliantly against both Manchester sides in their last two games.
Everton take on Bolton, with both teams knowing a place in the top 6 is up for grabs, and Newcastle United will aim to stay 5th as they welcome Blackburn Rovers to St James' Park. Roy Hodgson will hope Liverpool's recent revival will continue at struggling Wigan, and West Ham will be desperate for three points at home against West Brom. The night's final fixture is at Villa Park, between Aston Villa and Blackpool. Given the unpredictability of the league of late, and the closeness of the table, who knows what the Premier League standings will look like, after a crucial night of action, kicking off at 7.45 tonight!
