Just looking at the stats, there is one obvious thing that jumps out with Fulham this season. Look how many matches they have drawn! Only six teams in the Premier League have lost less matches than Fulham, yet they are 17th in the table. At the start of the season, they were drawing every match, couldn't win or lost. Unfortunately lately, they have started picking up losses, but still not many wins.
Roy Hodgson left in the Summer following their Europa League final appearance last campaign, and new boss Mark Hughes had a tough job. The thing is, Fulham have over achieved in recent years. Their squad isn't very strong, but Hodgson did brilliantly. So now Hughes has to manage that expectation, because to be honest, they are in the table just about where they should be.
I do feel the Cottagers will just about stay up, but it could be a tricky season for them. Dempsey has been their stand out performer this season. But with Zamora nearing a return from injury, that could well boost their striking options. Hughes knows that draws must become wins, or relegation could become a real possibility.
My prediction - 15th
