Fergie Develops A Stratagem

Sir Alex Ferguson is urging Manchester United owner Glazer to offer up more money to Ronaldo, and finally quell all transfer rumors about the Portuguese International. Ferguson is suggesting a pay raise of £150,000 a week for Ronaldo, but I still say that United don’t need him. Especially if he’s going to bite the hand that feeds him, let him play in Spain and fail. Ronaldo can’t handle playing for a club that isn’t built around him, just look at most of his outings for Portugal, not very impressive by world standards more often than not.
Let him go to Spain and fail, because he most definitely will.
Considering for a moment the Euro, Chelsea look to have acquired one hell of a striker in David Villa. The Spaniard scored a hat-trick last night in Spain’s 4-1 victory over Russia, and if he can carry over such success to the club level, Chelsea won’t miss the inevitable departure of Drogba at all.
Who needs a striker like Drogba anyways, a guy who is completely uninspired these days, and who’s skill really hasn’t been that valuable to the club. David Villa is the future, and a player who evokes such passion in the team and those around him will only bring more greatness to the Chelsea organization.
If Chelsea hire a manager that understands how to arrange players in their proper positions that is. I’ll always laugh about Grant’s foolish decisions last year. And the most important failure in playing Essien at right back in the CL final. When you needed someone to control mid-field and mark out Ronaldo, Grant decided to put him too far back to make a difference.
