New Voting Regiment For Me

March 12th 2011 11:51
I decided to take it upon myself to help all you Orble sport bloggers out there. I am going through the entire list of posts on the Orble sport home page and giving everybody 10 voting points. For the posts I am interested in, I comment on them. I feel that if everybody else tried to do what I was doing, the voting numbers would really look nice for everybody. It's just a suggestion, but this is something I will keep on doing for the betterment of the community regardless if anybody else does anything. I hope that you all will join me in the quest to help Orble bloggers gain more exposure. I see some really talented writers, Biggnights and Gpike- that really deserve to have their blogs read more by others.

English Premier League
English Premier League

With Manchester United leading the table now, it seems like ManU are going to be crowned the EPL champs for a record 20th time. But wait, we cannot assume anything because this is EPL and anything can happen. It won't even take a week for ManU to slip down or Chelsea to go up in this title race

2010 Orble Sport Awards

December 19th 2010 14:27
This is an idea I came up with where we award the best writers and websites in each sporting category for their hard work this year. If you think this is a stupid idea, tell me, and I won't go through with it if too many people say it is a bad idea. If you like the idea, send me a message voting for the following categories for both websites and writers:

Blog Comment Statistic

December 15th 2010 16:27
This is a simple statistic that I have used to define how many comments a person gets in comparison to how many comments they have posted. I comment on approximately ten blogs per day, and get about five comments. This means my "success rate" is at 50 percent. This means that half of the blogs that I regularly comment on do not give anything back.

For us to fully step forward in the community, we have to comment on everyone's blog if they comment on ours. We also must do this on a regular basis. People have busy schedules and so I do not comment much on Thursdays as that is my busy day. However, a 50 percent success rate isn't exactly good. Matt comments on seven blogs regularly and gets four comments. His success rate is slightly better, but it is still poor at only 56 percent.

Who will end the weekend top?

December 10th 2010 10:37

In recent weeks, it seems the leadership of the Premier League is changing hands every weekend. First Chelsea seemed to be in control, then Manchester United took over, now Arsenal go into this weekend in 1st place. But with four of the top five coming head to head over the next three days, who will be in top spot come Monday evening

December 6th 2010 13:43

Being fairly new to the World Football scene i am not even sure if the give out a MVP award. So for discussion sake who would be your MVP so far this season. As somebody has told me before stats can be deceiving in Soccer so it is hard for me to gauge the talent i guess

Club v Country

December 5th 2010 18:50
Whilst playing on FIFA11 this afternoon, I had an idea! Wouldn't it be brilliant if every year, we had a club vs country match? Maybe the World Champions of International football, taking on the World Champions of club football?

Obviously in some cases there would be clashes, but right now if Inter Milan took on Spain for example, there would be none. Also, on FIFA me and my mate had England v Barcelona, which also had no clashes

Samir Nasri goal v Fulham

Another weekend has passed in the English Premier League, and another team have risen to top spot. Chelsea held the position for weeks, before Manchester United took command last weekend. But with United's game at Blackpool postponed, and Chelsea stuttering again at home against Everton, it is Arsenal who now sit in pole position
