Congratulations Portsmouth

In the most boring FA Cup Final of the 127 to have taken place, Portsmouth have predictably prevailed over Cardiff. Although, once again it was a horrifyingly shaky performance by Pompey, but in the end Cardiff just didn’t have the talent to capitalize on the many Pompey mistakes.

With a goal by Kanu sealing the fate of the game in the 37th minute, a fairly cheap goal at that, Congratulations Portsmouth. And thank goodness we still have the Champions League final to look forward to. As if that had been the end to this year of football, after a brilliant showing in the Premiership, thinking of the FA final, there wouldn’t be an extreme amount of anticipation for next season.
