Coming Beck to the Premier League?

Seven and a half long years have now passed since David Beckham last played in the English Premier League. In the Summer of 2003 he left Manchester United, the club who he had played for since his youth, for Real Madrid. Since then he has been dropped and recalled countless times from the England squad, moved on to LA Galaxy in the MLS, and had two loan spells at Italian giants, AC Milan. Now, is it time for him to come home?
Everton manager David Moyes has given Becks an open invitation to join his club, should he wish to spend his winter on loan in Europe once again. This is exactly what Beckham has done the last two winters, when Galaxy's season has finished, joining Milan in 2009 and 2010. His primary reason was to catch the eye of England manager Fabio Capello, and having not been capped in a year now, this could well tempt him to move temporarily again.
Everton themselves are no strangers to such a deal. They signed Beckham's LA Galaxy team mate, Landon Donovan, on a loan deal last January, during the MLS off season. Having impressed at Goodison Park during his brief stay, the offer for Donovan to return is also on the table. The arrival of two of the MLS's biggest stars, could well be a timely boost for Moyes.
There will be a lot of people doubting David Beckham still has what it takes to play in the Premier League, at 35. But he looks fit and strong, and has been in great form since returning from the achillees injury which kept him out for 9 months. He also looked at home in the Milan team last season, which was playing Champions League football.
Personally I'd love to see him in the Premier League again, and as it is just a loan deal, what has he got to lose. Everton will be hoping that David Beckham is thinking along the same lines, and that he arrives for a couple of months in January.
