Can Blackpool keep ride going?
November 22nd 2010 17:14
I am very new to the game of soccer. My son started playing so i naturally became interested. Living in America i do not have the chance to watch alot of games but i do watch when i can.
My team i am watching now is Blackpool. I do not know if it is because the just started in the Premier League and i love a good underdog story. My question to you is can the stay in the Premier League.
With Games at Bolton, Stoke City and Sunderland and home matches against Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. Things are not looking good.
Currently the sit in 12th place with 18 points but like i said their next six games are against top half teams.
I see them needing at least 4 points at home and three points on the road so seven total points over the next six matches and the should still be clear of the regulation zone.

Pre-season i tipped them as definite relegation candidates, and still think they have a big chance to go down given the closeness of the league. But honestly, to Blackpool, the fixtures don't matter, they will try to win every football match they play, and even trying to predict their results is silly! Definitely a great team to watch though!

Anyways, Blackpool are now one of my favorite club in England. They are a weak team on papers but still they play attacking and attractive football and win/draw games. Unlike relegation candidate teams.
Btw Matt, you like cricket, don't ya? Check this then Really Long Link
