* Real Madrid will make their first official offer to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo, Madrid will be offering £50million for the mid-fielder.
* Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso could be off to Juventas for £14million
* Aston Villa reportedly will not part with Barry for less than £20million, making Liverpool’s chase for the mid-fielder a bit harder
* Hull City are going after Charlton striker Marcus Bent with a £3million bid.
* Sunderland are keen to sign Tottenham striker Darren Bent
* Arsenal may lose Adebayor to an Italian club, likely AC Milan
* Manchester City are in a race to sign Andrei Arshavin from Zenit St. Petersburg
* Middlesbrough are proposing a swap of Gary O’Neill for Fulham’s Jimmy Bullard
* Portsmouth are very interested in Liverpool’s Peter Crouch, but are as yet unwilling to offer up the £10million asking price for the big man.
* The Portuguese National team are eyeing Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz to be their next manager.
